HAWL Course

The ‘Homeopathy at Welly Level Course’ was the inspiration of Chris Lees. She got together a team of homeopathic vets and homeopaths in 2001, who have farm animal experience.  The course has become widely acclaimed and is unique.   It is run from the Prince of Wales’ farm in Gloucestershire.

Homeopathy is a powerful tool in the maintenance of health and treatment of disease. With increasing levels of disease on the farm over the years, despite intensive drug use, the farmer needs another tool to complement his conventional treatment and husbandry.
The course has become widely acclaimed and is unique.   From my teaching experience with this course I have travelled to Northern Ireland, Cornwall and Hampshire as well as the regular courses run from the Prince of Wales’ farm in Gloucestershire.
Many of the farmers who have done the course are dairy farmers, but we have also trained sheep farmers, pig farmers, deer farmers and even llama farmers who are now able to use homeopathy successfully alongside conventional veterinary medicine.  Sue also runs a support group for those farmers using homeopathy in the East Midlands which meets approximately four times a year.  Both organic and non organic farmers find the course helpful.

Sue was invited to give a presentation at the North East Organic Farming Association conference in New Hampshire, USA.
